They come to you and start with words like “Baba I fit see matches for your hand” The moment you give them they automatically start borrowing everything you have including your underwears.

Some of them even go as far as borrowing cooked food “Baba I fit borrow one plate of beans and garri, I go give u back I swear”

5.The Runs Girls crew

These ones entertain all sorts of jollof be it Ghanian or Nigerian jollof.Different species of men flocks in and out every second.

Most times you can’t sleep well because of the things you hear at night.

Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos has set a new Champions League record by becoming the first defender to score in two finals.

Mama G had an encounter with Christ last January and thus become born again. Starttells caught up with her at a crusade organised by St. Marks Anglican Church in Eziobodo village of Imo State, where she shared her salvation experience.





She said she always hold a personal retreat for herself in the first week of the New Year. During the 2016 retreat, the holy spirit told her to fast for 21 days, she complained that she had so many projects to handle, endorsements and movies to shoot within that period, and the Lord extended it to a 30-day fasting due to her complaints and stubbornness.

During this fasting period, she informed us that the Lord revealed to her, how she would be a voice for Him all over the world, how people’s attention would be channeled from her image on Nollywood to the gospel. She said one of the things God warned her against, was her dressing and appearance.

She said that putting on makeup, wearing Jewelry and trouser as a lady is wrong, that she has been preaching to colleagues in Nollywood as well about the imminent wrath of God concerning all them. She also said God told her to remove her dreads that she could have gone to hell if she had died on December 31, 2015 despite the preaching she’s been doing, just because of her appearance.





When asked if she would drop Nollywood finally for the gospel of Christ, Patience Ozokwor narrated that the holy spirit has not specifically directed her to quit or not to. She said that she has not shot any movie since that encounter in January, that she used to get an average of N1.5million weekly, but that God has miraculously been providing her daily bread.

Ozokwor warned that it would be harder for colleagues in the movie industry, with permanent tattoos and eyebrows when they eventually encounter Christ.

She also said that she should stop being referred to as Mama G as that name was for when she was in the world.

In an audacious heist involving thousands of coordinated withdrawals, 100 thieves in Japan made away with $13m in just under three hours and what’s more, none of them have been apprehended.

Police believe that as many as 100 people worked together using forged credit cards containing account details illegally obtained from a bank in South Africa.

The attack which took place on the morning of May 15th appears to have been the brainchild of a criminal mastermind.The fake cards were used in 1400 ATM’s and each person made a withdrawal 100,000 yen – the maximum allowed by the cash machines, they were able to cart away more than 1.4bn yen (US$12.7m)

Japanese police have requested the assistance of the authorities in South Africa, via Interpol in establishing how the credit card information was obtained.Transaction data retrieved from the cash machines suggests that the criminals used information for 1,600 credit cards issued by the unnamed South African bank.

According to local media, the daring operation went into place early on Sunday the 15th, the withdrawals began just after 5am with the last one made just before 8am the same day.

Reports suggest that members of the gang may no longer be in Japan. They made sure to buy themselves enough time by using cards issued in another country and carrying out the theft on a day when banks won’t be open, by the time the crime was discovered, they already had a good headstart.

I am very disappointed to be unable to complete our intended three-year plan.

I believe that the foundations are firmly in place to enable the club to move forward and achieve even greater success. I hope that winning the FA Cup will give the club a platform to build upon next season to restore the success that this passionate set of fans desire. Having managed in Holland, Spain and Germany, I had always hoped for the opportunity to manage in English football and be part of English culture. Both of these experiences have lived up to expectations and been fantastic. I thank my players and wish them well for next season. It has been a pleasure to work with them and it has been particularly rewarding to see so many young players take their chance to break into the first team and excel. A man has been arrested after reportedly being seen wheeling a woman’s dead body along a street in New York. The New York Police Department (NYPD) said an off-duty detective saw Anthony Lopez, 31, using a metal dolly to transport the corpse of 26-year-old Aduba Obiamaka on Friday, May 20.

Officers tried to question him after spotting the body underneath the sheet but Lopez allegedly went on the run for 24 hours. NYPD detectives said he shaved his head to avoid detection but was arrested in Manhattan on Saturday.

He has been charged with murder and concealing a human corpse.The medical examiner will determine what caused the death of Obiamaka, who police believe was Lopez's wife. It was not immediately known if Lopez has a lawyer

It’s well known that type 2 diabetes can increase the risk for heart disease, kidney disease, nerve damage, and amputations. But complications associated with poor blood sugar control can affect other parts of the body, too.



“When we talk about diabetes complications, we talk about it from head to toe” s
says Cathy Reeder-McIntosh, RN, a certified diabetes educator at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. “Even if you don’t have perfectly controlled blood sugar, lowering your A1C level — which measures your average blood sugar level over the past two to three months — even a small amount helps reduce your risk of complications.”


However, some people won’t make changes until they see signs of complications caused by years of high blood sugar, according to Reeder-McIntosh. To keep that from happening, you should be aware of these 6 lesser-known diabetes complications and how to avoid them.

1. Cognitive decline
“Certainly there is a lot of evidence that high blood sugar affects memory and attention chronically over time,” says Katherine Lewis, MD, MSCR, an assistant professor in the division of endocrinology, diabetes, and medical genetics at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Imaging tests of the brains of people with diabetes showed that diabetes is correlated with brain changes, according to research published in July 2014 in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease. Although doctors don’t fully understand the relationship, Dr. Lewis said, controlling blood sugar may help reduce the risk for altered memory and cognition.

2. Depression
People with diabetes are at increased risk for depression when compared with their peers, according to a review of data from 16 studies, published in the February 2015 issue of the Community Mental Health Journal. Symptoms of depression include sadness, hopelessness, despair, irritability, changing sleep patterns, and a loss of interest in people and activities you once enjoyed, according to the National Institute of Mental Health. Depression can be treated, so let your doctor know if you have these symptoms.



3. Hearing loss
Hearing loss appears to be about twice as common in people with diabetes as it is in those who don’t have the disease, according to the American Diabetes Association (ADA). Signs of hearing loss include difficulty hearing what people are saying to you, needing to turn up the television and radio, feeling that people around you are always mumbling, and struggling to keep up with conversations in a crowded or noisy room. Reeder-McIntosh suggests seeing an audiologist to check your hearing if you have any concerns.


4. Gum disease
People with diabetes may be at risk for gum disease. “We see that gum disease in diabetes is related to high blood sugar,” says Lewis. The ADA recommends that people with diabetes watch for such warning signs of gum disease as bleeding, sore, or swollen gums as well as more severe changes in your mouth, such as loosening teeth. To help prevent gum disease, brush and floss your teeth regularly and visit your dentist every six months.5. Skin infections
“If blood sugar is elevated, any risk of infection goes up,” says Reeder-McIntosh. The ADA says you might see more skin infections, including styes, boils, infected hair follicles, nail infections, and deeper skin infections called carbuncles. Symptoms include painful, red areas in your skin. In addition to controlling blood sugar, following the ADA’s recommended daily skin care routine can help prevent infection. This includes keeping skin clean and dry, keeping sores and cuts clean and covered, and moisturizing skin.

6. Fungal infections
Diabetes can raise your risk for fungal infections, too. “Things like to grow in a nice, warm, sugary environment,” Reeder-McIntosh explains. This includes fungal infections such as vaginal yeast infections, jock itch, ring worm, and athlete’s foot, according to the ADA. Symptoms include itching, red areas surrounded by white scales, and even a yeasty or fungal smell. To treat these infections, see a doctor. You can help avoid them by keeping your skin clean and dry.

7. Bone
People diagnosed with diabetes are 20 percent more likely to experience a hip fracture than their peers, according to research published in February 2015 in Osteoporosis International. Lewis says that this could be due to high blood sugar levels weakening the bone matrix. Lower bone density happens silently, so your best bet for prevention is to control blood sugar, get a bone density screening, and learn how to reduce your risk for falls.

Governors of Nigeria’s 36 states are seeking to access about $3.2 billion from the World Bank to curtail the fiscal challenge faced across the states, the governors’ forum has said.

The revelation was made on Thursday morning by some of the governors after their meeting at the Banquet Hall of the presidential villa in Abuja.

The meeting was convened by the Nigeria Governors Forum.

The chairman of the forum, Governor Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara State, told journalists that the forum decided to invite the country director of World Bank, Rachid Benmessaoud, to brief them “on the money lying down in the World Bank which largely belongs to state governments but had not been accessed”.

Mr. Yari said because of the cumbersome procedure in accessing the funds, most of the governors did not even know they had such funds there.

He said it was the governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, who sold the idea to his colleagues to invite the World Bank official to come and “educate the governors to know that these monies are there especially in the kind of situation we are in, the difficulties we are all facing so that the states can move forward in terms of infrastructural development and other matters in our respective states”.

The NGF chair said the governors raised issues as regards the provision of counterpart funding being a requirement to accessing the fund. He said the World Bank officials promised to look into the matter.

“We discussed sincerely on the issue of counterpart funding. It is more difficult for us to fulfil our own part because we are struggling to see how we can pay salaries; that is the most difficult aspect of it. And they promised that they will look into it and immediately that is done, the states will move fast to ensure we access it,” Mr. Yari said.

“Also, they agreed that they will give us the details state by state; how much is lying down for each state and how we are going to access it.

“As of now they are ready to facilitate a kind of workshop to the state governors and the commissioners of finance and other staff, so that we can know how best to move and access these funds for the betterment of our respective states,” Mr. Yari said.

Mr. El-Rufai, who also spoke with reporters, said the World Bank portfolio for the states for the 2016 was $4.25billion, out of which, he said, “$3.25billion dollars is lying there undisbursed”.

The Kaduna governor said the funds were idle because the states were not meeting their conditions or not moving fast enough to draw this $3.25billion dollars.

“You know $3.25billion dollars can do a lot to improve the lives and livelihood of our citizens in the state and the World Bank has expressed its flexibility to look into the challenges we are facing as well as the procedure or bottleneck to ease the access of these monies,” he said.

He also said the World Bank wanted the states to withdraw the money as quickly as possible so that citizens would get its benefits including from “health to education and the rural access, agriculture and the revival of livestock and water supply”.

“These are the areas that most of these funds are dedicated and we all need the money because we are all broke, so we are going to work very hard to try to get these monies in trust,” Mr. El-Rufai said.

Support for full deregulation of petroleum downstream

The Nigerian governors also gave their support to the recent full deregulation of the downstream sector of the petroleum industry which led to price increase of the product from N86.50 to N146 per liter.
The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, is currently on strike over the hike in the price.

Speaking on the matter, in the early hours of Thursday, Ogun state governor, Ibikunle Amosun, said the deregulation should be considered as “sacrifices that must be paid by all”.

Mr. Amosun said the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari means well and the governors also mean well for the country.

“If truly we are caring for the masses we must believe that subsidy only serves the rich, those that are getting us the fuel, not the masses.

“We believe that such money that have been saved from the subsidy would be used for infrastructural development particularly for social services for all of the down-trodden masses.

“we are putting our weight behind it, while urging the federal government and indeed the state governments to see how we can ameliorate all the problems the masses would probably go through in the short run because in the long run they would be the better for it.

“We supported it because we believe that it is in the interest of the masses,” Mr. Amosun said.

STEPS TO TAKE IF YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM HAS MALWARE.

Last week we discussed what we should do if we have come to believe that we have malware. What signs we look for in our computer system, etc. Now we need to go a little deeper into what to do when we come to that conclusion.

Before we dig into that, let me mention the little known fact that if you have a screen pop up saying something like:"virus detected,"that doesn't mean you necessarily have a virus in your computer system. It could mean that you downloaded a file and your anti-virus software detected a virus and removed it before it could become a problem. It also could mean that a malicious file on an infected web page could have been detected and was dealt with. If you see that screen, don't worry, a lot but you might want to go into your anti-virus program and check its quarantine or its detection logs to view more information about the exact viruses and what action was taken. Do this as an educational experience. You can't know too much about the dangers to your computer system.

So today let's talk a little about what we should consider when we come to the firm conclusion that we have, indeed, become infected with a virus or viruses.

This doesn't seem to be common knowledge, but I have found out from extensive reading that while many viruses and other types of malware are designed because the sender loves chaos, more and more malware at this time is being used by organized crime in order to steal credit card numbers from you as well as other sensitive data.

I know a number of people who purchased fairly good quality anti-virus software and then let it expire. Not too much you can do more foolish than that.

Many people I have known found viruses and then purchased appropriate software and considered the problem solved, as the software would detect and destroy the infection. Actually if I had a virus on a program I cared about I would immediately, after clearing my machine, install a new version of the program. Why would you take a chance? I can't imagine why someone would. These are sensitive pieces of equipment and should be treated with respect.

If you are not going to care for them, why should you expect them to care for you and all you've built.

Possibly you have an anti-virus program but you get the idea that you have viruses that it is not detecting. Possible? Sure. But you can get another opinion on this malware with another type of product. A variety of providers make a one-time scanning tool. These programs will download into your computer system and do a quick scan without a long installation process. You might not know that you cannot have multiple anti-virus products operating at the same time so this allows you to scan with another anti-virus software without the hassle of uninstalling your current anti-virus program. See?

Now what happens if you are right and the viruses are in your computer system and were not detected by your current software? Perhaps your anti-virus software is not up to the job. Maybe you obtained one of those free anti-virus programs widely available on the internet and you took it thinking you were crafty and thereby saved some money. Sorry, it was not crafty, at all.

But back to the problem: You might want to uninstall your thrifty-bargain software and purchase something that will actually protect what you've worked for.

You need to decide what you need; not what others think you need. Or what others want to sell you. But you need knowledge to make that decision.

You might find that some viruses and other types of malware tend to dig their hooks deep into your system, making them very difficult to remove from your computer system. This can be the case especially if the viruses have infected your system earlier and has had time to run crazy and possibly download types of malware. The competent and appropriate software you have now purchased is not always able to root out infections already in the system.

There is another method you can use with the "safe mode" from your Windows programs but if you're not really knowledgeable about the program I would suggest an IT person or just skip it and go on to the next idea.

The best thing here is to obtain a new, clean version of the program. Then you have no worries about the program.

I feel I have to mention the "Nuclear Option." This is a possible procedure but I would suggest this done only by a IT person. Not your nephew who is eleven but works really well with computers.

Anyway, this is it: If the malware has so damaged your computer system that Windows still isn't working properly after the viruses have been successfully removed, you might want to revert your computer to its factory state. Many computers come from the factory with what are called "restore partitions" that you can access by pressing a certain key during your booting process.

You probably received a Windows installer disc when you purchased the computer system and you can use this here. Please keep in mind that this will delete the files and programs on your computer so be sure important data is backed up prior to any reinstall.

NCC bans spam messages, defaulting telcom companies to pay N5m fine

Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has NCC has barred mobile number operators from sending out unsolicited text messages to subscribers, according to information obtained from the Legal and Regulatory Services Department regulatory authority.

Consequently, network operators in the country have up till June 30, 2016 to stop sending unsolicited Short Message Service or calls to subscribers or face a N5 million fine if they failed to comply with the directive.
A further N500, 000 per day also awaits the operators for as long as the contravention persists.

The document, which was obtained on Sunday, showed that a total of 13 MNOs were issued with the directive. They include: MTN, Airtel, Smile, Etisalat, Globacom and Visafone.

Others are Starcomms, Megatech Engineering Limited, Gicell Wireless Limited, Danjay Telecoms, Gamjitel, Multilinks and Natcom.

They were asked to set up the shortcode of 2442 for subscribers to opt-in to the “Do Not Disturb” (DND) database restricting unsolicited marketing messages.

According to the commission, it shall be mandatory for mobile operators to create sufficient awareness to its subscribers on the existence of the DND on their networks; that they shall also comply with the quarterly and reporting template prescribed by the NCC to ensure feedback and compliance.

NCC warned operators that generated SMS shall comply with the 8am to 8pm stipulation (12 hour period) for sending SMS to subscribers and that the opt-in process shall be free.

It said operated generated SMS is excluded from the DND list in as much as such messages are in conformity with NCC’s directive on timing and regularity and do not constitute a nuisance to subscribers and the subscribers shall have right to partial or full DND implementation.

NCC said the ‘New Direction’ issued pursuant to Section 53 of the Nigerian Communications Act follows the inundation of complaints by subscribers to its office about menace of unsolicited text messages and voice calls from mobile operators which have impacted negatively on consumer quality service in the telecom industry.

NCC said it was aware through its monitoring activities that some operators have set up DND facility on their network but the awareness by subscribers of the facility is very minimal and unsatisfactory. The menace of unsolicited texts and calls led NCC a fortnight ago to regulate the Value Added Services (VAS) market with the issuance of draft regulation.

Michel Platini resigns as UEFA president after his ban from football is reduced to 4years

Michael Platini has resigned from his post as UEFA president after his ban from football for 6 years was reduced to four years by the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).

CAS effectively removed Platini from world football by ensuring his ban runs beyond his current Uefa mandate, which expires in March 2019. The court said in a statement that the ban “corresponds to the duration of a presidential term”.





“I take note of today’s decision from Cas but I see it as a profound injustice,” Platini said in a statement. “This decision inflicts a suspension on me that, as luck would have it, stops me from contesting the next election for the FIFA presidency.”

“As agreed with the national associations, I am resigning from my duties as Uefa president to pursue my battle in front of the Swiss courts to prove my innocence in this case.

“Life is always full of surprises: I am henceforth available to experience more of them.”




In a media statement made this morning, CAS said;



”The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rendered its decision in the arbitration procedure between Michel Platini and the Fédération Internationale de Football Association(FIFA). The suspension of Mr. Platini has been lowered from 6 to 4 years and the CHF 80’000 fine to CHF 60’000.”

”The Panel, however, was not convinced by the legitimacy of the CHF 2,000,000 payment, which was only recognized by Mr. Platini and Mr. Blatter, and which occurred more than 8 years after the end of his work relations, was not based on any document established at the time of the contractual relations and did not correlate with the alleged unpaid part of his salary (CHF 700’000 x 4 = CHF 2’800’000). Moreover, the Panel took note that Mr. Platini benefitted from the extension of a pension plan to which he was not entitled.”

CAF fines Nigeria $5,000 for stadium overcrowding in AFCON qualifier

Africa’s ruling football body, CAF, on Monday morning May 9th fined the Nigerian Football Federation $5,000 for allowing its stadium to be overcrowded during their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt in Kaduna in March.

The Kaduna State government had thrown open the doors of the venue for free to allow fans to watch the crucial AFCON qualifier which ended 1-1

More than 40,000 spectators entered into the 15,000 capacity stadium in Kaduna, and sat anywhere they could find space, from the floors, to the score board and flood lights and now CAF has reacted with this suspension saying such action puts the players and officials lives at risk.

NVIDIA has taken the wraps off its next generation flagship graphics cards, the GTX 1080 and the cheaper GTX 1070

The main attraction here is that both the cards are based on NVIDIA’s new Pascal architecture and manufactured using 16nm FinFET process, which makes it more efficient, 3x compared to the previous Maxwell architecture, and also smaller, while packing in 7.2 billion transistors.

The GTX 1080 comes with 2560 CUDA cores, up from 2048 on the 980. It is clocked at 1607MHz, with a boost clock of 1733MHz. The card is also overclockable with the new GPU Boost 3.0.

One of the major improvements is to the memory, with the addition of 8GB GDDR5X memory and 256-bit memory bus. It’s not quite HBM2, it still features improved bandwidth over GDDR5, with 10Gbps of memory clock and 320GB/s memory bandwidth. The TDP has increased by 15W over the 980 to 180W on the 1080, but it should be worth it, as the 1080 is 20-25% times faster than the previous flagship, Titan X, and a significant 65% faster than the 980.

One of the changes is also to the design. It looks similar to the design that was introduced back in 2013 with the original GTX Titan, but is now more angular everywhere. Underneath, the 1080 runs a new vapor chamber cooler for more efficient cooling. On the connectivity side, the card includes 3 DisplayPort 1.2 ports (support for 1.3/1.4 coming later), 1 HDMI, and 1 DL-DVI-D port. The new cards also support the updated GTS SLI HB bridge, which doubles the transfer bandwidth and comes in a brand new design with three different sizes. Power supply is through a single eight pin connector.

The 1070 is a bit less impressive, with fewer but unspecified CUDA cores and lower, again unspecified clock speed. It also lacks the faster GDDR5X memory, and instead has 8GB GDDR5 memory. NVIDIA claims the 1070 is capable of 6.5 teraflops, whereas the 1080 can do 9 teraflops. It does use the same 16nm FinFET process with 7.2 billion transistor count.

The GTX 1080 will be available in Founders Edition for $699 on May 27 from various OEMs, including NVIDIA. This will be the one with reference design. The custom board designs from OEMs will start at $599.

The GTX 1070 Founders Edition will be available from June 10 for $499, and custom boards from $379.

Do Not Extend The Limit Lies



It happens to the best of us; we get caught in a circle of lies, we are tempted to lie in order to cover our previous lie. But, this can only cause you more trouble as you will have to tell another lie to cover the lie you used to cover the first lie, and then tell another lie to cover all three lies and so on. Anyway, you get my point. So, in the case of the client call event, if your boss confronts you and tells you that you never made that call, don’t deny it because if they find out you keep lying, then I am pretty sure they will eventually fire you.



Accept Your Mistake And Apologise

So, as soon as he confronts you, just answer with a simple yet sincere apology saying you were sorry you weren’t honest about the client- make sure that it’s sincere and conveys regret. You must not deny that you lied, instead agree to the mistake you did and apologize for it. Assure the boss that you will not lie from the very next time and will remain true to him or her.



Explain The Whole Situation

If it was your need to lie, you must give an explanation to the boss regarding the mindset you had. May be the lie was not for some malicious purpose. So, if it was not, give the proper explanation to the boss and it will help you a lot in soothing the whole situation. Now the question may arise that, will your explanation give a hundred percent excuse to you? No, this certainly will not happen, but yes it will add a human element to the situation and will help your boss to see the similar situation from your perspective or eyes.



Tackle The Issue Right Away

So, if the client issue needs to be dealt with immediately, assure your boss that you are going to tackle the issue right away, or if not right away, give them a precise time frame. Or if you are unsure how to make the follow-up call ask for your boss’s advice on how to best handle it. This way your boss will be reassured that you are going to rectify the situation effectively and without any further delays.



There Won’t Be Next Time

Now that you have dealt with the current lie, your final step should be to reassure your boss that it won’t happen again in the future and if you’re feeling anxious about a client again, let them know that you will seek guidance from them straight away.
This way you will show your regret and dedication to your work so that you can reestablish your boss’s trust.
Of course, the best thing is to avoid lying to your boss in the first place. But, we all lie to our bosses sometimes. Nevertheless, we should all try to have an open and honest relationship with both our coworkers and managers so we can always feel comfortable in our jobs.

When someone has got something to do, they can get it done straight away or they can put it to one side and do something else. And when it comes to what is the best approach to take, it can all depend on what it is that needs to be done.

If one had a piece of furniture that needed to be built, it might be possible for them to ignore it for a few days; but once those days are up, it might need be ready to be used. However, this could all depend on what type of furniture it is, as it might be possible for them to leave it for a number of months.

The Difference

One could live in a climate where it won't be warm for a number of months, and this will then mean that they won't need to use any tables and chairs outside for quite some time. Thus, if they overlooked this and did something else, it is not going to have a negative effect on their life.

Yet if one had some furniture that they needed to use inside, it is not going to possible for them to put it to one side. Perhaps they haven't got anywhere to eat or they have a table but no chairs.

Part of Life

Now, it could be said that there are times in everyone's life where they delays things, and there are a number of reasons why his takes place. When this relates to something that one needs to do, it could be said that they are procrastinating.

For example, one could be studying or have a career where they give presentations on a regular basis, and instead putting the work in, they could do something else. Through behaving in this way, it could set them up to suffer unnecessarily.

A Regular Occurrence

If this was something that took place every now and then, for instance, it might not have much of an effect on their life. But if this was a common occurrence, they could end up sabotaging their life.

It would then be a good idea for them to take a look into why this takes place, and to do what they can to take action when they need to. This could be a sign that one is doing something that doesn't really interest them, and it might then be time for them to do something else.

What can also stop one from doing what they need to do is when they feel the need to maintain a certain appearance around other people. Their need to look right or to behave as they have done in the past stops them from expressing what is taking place within them.

This is something that can take place when one experiences loss and this can then mean that it won't be possible for one to grieve. Instead, one can end up carrying on as normal and how they feel will stay trapped within them.

Behaviour

So although they need to change their behaviour, this is not going to take place, and there is even the chance that the people around them will give them positive feedback. As far as these people are concerned, one could be seen as someone who is strong.

There will then be no need for them to embrace what is taking place within them, as this would be a sign of weakness. This could be a time where one is focused on someone else who is grieving, or they might just throw themselves into their work, for instance.

Backwards

One of the problems with today's world is that people who express how they feel are often seen as weak and people who don't are often seen as strong. This then sets people up to repress how they feel, and not only does this affect their personal lives, it is also has an effect on their society.

Ultimately, it takes strength for someone to face how they feel; it is a lot easier for one to run away from themselves. There is also a lot of pressure on people to be 'positive' all the time and to avid anything that is 'negative'.

Life Goes On

So through living in a society that is out of balance, it is not going to be much of a surprise if one doesn't face how they feel when someone in their life passes on. The weeks, months and years can then pass and it can be as if there life is no different.

This is not to say that certain symptoms won't arise, but if one is out of touch with how they feel they are unlikely to realise what is taking place. One could find that they start to feel depressed or they could lose their motivation, for instance.

Out of Nowhere

When they do get in touch with the pain that they disconnected from when someone passed on, it could end up taking them by surprise. One can then go from feeling as though they have a certain amount of self-control, to having absolutely no self-control.

They will then be overwhelmed by emotion and they will have no other choice than to face what is taking place within them. This is not to say that they won't resist how they feel, but it will be a lot harder this time.

The Trigger

One could be in a position where a relationship has just come to an end up and this causes them to face how they feel. It could also be the anniversary of the person who has passed and this could change their point off focus.

Or one could move somewhere else, or change their job, and this then allows them to settle down and to get in touch with their body. There are a number of ways in which this can take place.

Awareness

If one can relate to this, it might be important for them to reach out for external support, and this can be provided by a therapist and/or a support group. This can be a time where one will be crying out the pain that is within them, among other things.
